I’ve seen some great and unique work by learning disabled artists and performers, but I’ve also seen some stuff that was definitely not great. I think sometimes there is a problem when people present work that is fun to share but isn’t ready for a paying public and that doesn’t help anyone. It can put audiences off seeing the really great stuff. I think thought has to be given to how and when stuff is presented.

Of course, I’ve seen some awful stuff by non disabled artists and performers as well.

I think it is a really complicated issue.

  1. I have seen some great art . I am in london. I feel very lucky to able to see creative london and other places. Meeting other people to plan and develop my next project can be hard work. I want to work with the best People on my team. I need to “sound out” other artists about the project and funders. For me Its about meeting people and making some great Art and opening minds.
