Oska Bright was invited to be part of the Arts Connect event in Eastbourne, we saw music, dance, films and acting.
The quality was good, the films were brilliant. David one of the filmmakers said:
‘Our film is important because it’s about our real life’
‘you know it’s good because of the audience reaction’
Another filmmaker, Danny said:
‘There are long films and short films, the short films are the best.’
Dominic said:
‘You can see if a film is quality, if it looks good, it’s clear, well filmed then it’s quality’
Chris Burke, a musician said:
‘Quality means getting as close to a target as possible. I need someone to help me mix my music properly and someone I could ask questions to..I know where I’m going wrong but I don’t know the answers. The work that stood out today was ‘Tomboy’ from Oska Bright because it was technically very well done. The other one was ‘good day in Bexhill’ because it was well filmed and the story was played out well.’
We had a good day networking and talking to lots of new people. Lots of them were just starting out on Art projects.
