Do you think that punk is leading the way in getting more people to accept quality music by learning disabled musicians? The Guardian do, in their online article here. What do you think?

I was thinking about this the other day, it does seem like the DIY/Punk movement is opening up more easily to musicians with a learning disability than the art world is for artists with a learning disability, perhaps it is because they are more open minded and experimental, willing to try something new, what are the galleries/venues etc afraid of? I love what Constant Flux is doing, I find the gigs inspirational, perhaps it is something to do with the equal mixture of bands with and without members who have learning disabilities? Have there been any major exhibitions where artwork is presented in this way?
