Do you think you’re funny? Are you often making your friends and family laugh? Then you could be perfect for Punchlines – a Carousel project enabling people with a learning disability to find their comedic voice. Punchlines is a 10-week series of comedy performance workshops for people with a learning disability. Performers will: – Try different forms of comedy (sketch, stand up, musical, character pieces) – Record their work for broadcast on Carousel Radio – Work with Comedian Gerry Thompson to channel their own sense of humour and life experiences into comedy – Showcase their work at an event at Komedia, a renowned arts venue in the heart of Brighton punchlines 2017 poster Spaces on the workshops are limited.
