Following their three month residency at the Free Space Gallery, Artists Philippa Marshall and Michelle Kurth invite you, during the private view, to join them for some colourful activities and an informal tour of their work. Then you will be able to enjoy the exhibition until 27 January 2017. Philippa works mainly with paint and collage and creates large pieces of bold, colourful artwork. As a non-verbal artist, the colours Philippa uses are really important and they become a form of communication to help express her emotions. Michelle is a handweaver. She explores woven tapestry using a variety of materials and her background as a graphic designer is often reflected in her work. She enjoys using bold colours and her work in both 2D and 3D is mainly conceptual; frequently moving away from more traditional tapestry weaving. Phillipa and Michelle have been creating work in response to their environment and to the experience of working with each other. Private View: Friday 2 December 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm RSVP to info@freespacegallery.org or info@actionspace.org Exhibition dates: 3 December 2016 until 27 January 2017 Opening Times: 9am – 6.30pm Location: Kentish Town Health Centre, 2 Bartholomew Road, NW5 2BX Free entry
